Pvc pipe bows???

Anyone here ever experiment with pvc pipe bows..? I recently saw the youtube videos by the Backyard Bowyer..I couldn't believe it would work..So i tried it..I started with a 60" piece of 1' schedule 40 pvc and flattened it, shaped the handle added some reflex and recurved it..I can't hardly believe it but it worked..ended up 55#@27"Shoots real nice....Anyone else ever have luck with this?

i have  not  try-ed it yet. but  i have  watched a lot of is  videos on you  tube  . he is good at what he does.  thought it  would be an easy way to make sum kid bows .. ill have to give it a try sum time and see how it works out .

Ive done it a few times must say that i much prefer wood, however for the price the PVC bow is quick fun to build and shoot and it doesn't explode when it breaks it just bends and creases

PVC pipe bows are easy and quick. They make a kind of whomp sound when you shoot them.
