First Sinew Bowstring
« on: March 16, 2013, 03:53:11 am »
I finished my first sinew bowstring and shot a few arrows out of a 20# bow with it! I followed this video series by Allergichobbit on youtube. Thank you for that, well done!

I just think this is the coolest thing ever. I'd love to make a stronger one at some point to use with a fully primitive setup. I had to show you guys my wife just doesn't get it. ;)

Looks like a good one! I watched Patrick work on one at the Classic four years ago and was impressed. Someday I'll give it a try.

thanks guys, it's a tad time consuming but not was not really that hard once I got the hang of it.  Now I just need to figure out how to make one for a 60# bow.  :)
