Pretty wood. That's a good lookin' bow. Never had a chance to use persimmon but have always wanted to. Looks like its up there with hophornbeam, hackberry, and vine maple as far as white woods go.

Great looking bow. Just discovered a nice persimmon tree next to a powerline I hunt. If the tree crews come, i'm snatching it up.

I've been already marking (in my mind) some nice tall straight persimmons myself...for spring harvest
love the way the wood works, cutting, rasping, scraping..the wood is wonderful stuff
