Yea, I was lucky, it just smacked me in the cheek. Tim, the wood is yellow Guava. I'm going to find some more, now.

Eddie, we all have bows break. Hopefully, they break on the t tree. I think I've had a half dozen break at full draw. May be a few more. I'm glad you were not hurt. Jawge

man that sucks  :'( im had my second attempt at a bow do that it worked fine on the tee but when i puled it it broke and gave me a welt across my face   :-[  should have seen parents face when i walked in the house  >:D

Well that sucks Eddie. So, i guess you didn't float to Hawaii to get that. Yellow guava must grow in FL?  ;D. Good luck on another one.

Yea, Paul, It grows down here. The grove I got that wood from got killed this past winter. We had over two weeks of freezing weather. I've got to find a new spot now.
