One Hackberry and Six Hickory Staves To Good Homes
« on: November 29, 2011, 10:57:57 pm »
After inspecting my wood pile, I discovered that most of my staves are badly checked.  The dry West Texas air was too much for them.  Anyway, a few survived.  I've got (1) hackberry and (6) hickory staves left.  The hackberry is 69" long and the hickories are 74" to 75" long.  All are about 5" deep and 3" wide.

I'll trade for the price of shipping.  I'm looking for deer parts: antler, sinew, leg bones, and rawhide.  Thanks!

Edit:
Just pay shipping (or send me something you think has the same value as the shipping) and we're good.  The stave is free.

Darn, I could have traded rawhide and sinew but looks like I posted too late. At any rate, if any of the trades for hickory staves don't work out, I might be interested (I'd want to see pics, so I know what I'm getting).
