New point from new to me stone
« on: May 16, 2012, 02:21:42 am »
This point is made from some rock I found in a creekbed here in northwest Arkansas. I think it is some type of reed springs but not sure. I really like the "lightning" in it. Awesome stone to work. http://i.imgur.com/z5ZPF.jpg

Thank you.
I'm always up for a trade. I have found an area that has a lot of this rock. Some grades better than others and you don't know till you bust into it what youre gonna get. But there is enough of the good stuff there to make it worth going back and looking for more. I am actually going to be in the Winston-Salem area in July. Not sure how far that is from you but it is a heck of a lot closer than Arkansas. Like I said always willing to do some trading.
