Hickory backed ipe glue up (first power lam)
« on: August 08, 2014, 11:28:21 am »
So I got some nice hickory backing from warpath. And had to glue something up. I'm pretty sure I have ADHD. Or OCD. Or just got the bow sickness! I just had to. Cherry power lam. Slight reflex in handle the deflex/reflex. Boy does that power lam stiffen things up.

Lol thanks Chris. Glad to hear they haven't found a cure! I'm learning. These lam bows are a lot of fun. I wish I woulda used so e yeller wood instead of cherry. Ah well. I'm trying to make my hunting bow and I think I'm On to something. I really like the feel of it. The yeller wood would have popped more but I'll do it next time
