rope clamp

 i was wondering if anyone has a pic or specs from a "rope clamp".  I dont  know if that's what its called, but im talking about basically a stick with a hole in it that you use to wrap a bow laminate together. i cant find any pics of the ones that i've seen before

I know what you're talking about because I used to build doors and have seen it done, Googled the heck outta it and found squat! Now it's a quest! One way, and not sure it would work, but use a loop and insert a stick and twist.

 Yes i found that video on you tube and thats what i was talking about. And i also searched for more on it and found nothing else, but the vid. gave me the info i needed.

You can find more info on that clamp in the Karpowitz book on horn bows, although, I think he says after giving a description, that he does not use it anymore, instead opting for something more modern, like mini C clamps.
