Sometimes I think it would be nice to have a very short draw so I didn’t have to be as picky about designs. I shoot a lot of 26” bows as well but 28” is a better compromise for technique. With modern equipment I like 30 or 31” It’s amazing how much the heavy bows collapse the shoulder. I have a 5lb training bow where I anchor yardstick length arrows to the corner of my mouth. But then with a collapsed shoulder, a bent arm and a heavy lean I can anchor 25”, 26” comfortably
