Pappy,
I've roamed those woods since I was a very little boy. Not a easy place to hunt and the hill does not give up it's game easy. Probably would have better luck elsewhere but I just like it there. Hope to get out with the bow this week before firearm season starts on Saturday. Expecting 12 to maybe 18 inches of snow later this week. I am 65 years old and hunt alone so I'm not sure whether I will hunt or wait until I can walk in better and more important get back out with a deer if I get one. It's been a enjoyable season regardless of whether I get a deer or not.
take care,
brian

I can see why you like the place. It holds a variety of fur bearers also. It's nice to walk out your door to hunt.I do that here too.
