B-Day Present
« on: December 06, 2008, 07:06:45 pm »
I built this bow for a young man for his birthday.  It is a bamboo backed with a tapered osage center lam and ipe belly.  The handle is purple heart, osage, cocobolo.  The limb tip overlays are osage and the tip underlays are also osage.  It is 56" and 25# at 25". He will be turning 11 next week..

Way to go David I love to see kids with bows :) I'm due myself to build another kids bow
I get more of a kick out of a kids smile than I do when I build myself a new bow.
Well done brother :)
