this is my new english longbow it pulls 45.5 pounds at 25 inches(my arms are short ;D) It's made out of hickory and i sealed it with golden oak danish oil. The string is just a flemish string that i made out of hemp. http://s415.photobucket.com/albums/pp235/tombowyer/?albumview=slideshow

Hey guys. Youngbowyer is 11 years old and this is his first bow, and he made it by himself. He had it posted on the War Bow thread.  I asked him to post it here so his bow could be considered for BOM.
Tom has a more complete description of the bow on the War Bow thread so go and take a look.
Again, Tom. I am impressed with your work!     Pat

I am also very impressed with your bow, arrows also. I like that very deep draw. War bow style. I guess that answers the question as to wether the war bow catagory neds to be kept or not.  Again, very cool bow and jam up work, especially for your first one.      Kenneth

Nice work, there youngbowyer! Got your neat bow bookmarked for January Self Bow of the Month.
In your full draw, it looks like the arrow isn't centered on the bow...if you take another picture of the full draw, let us know.
