finished my first bow
« on: January 30, 2009, 04:00:18 pm »
Well guys I finally finished the hickory stave into a bow,the one Ive been pestering you with questions about. Its no work of art, but it shoots real well ,so far.,it is 66 inches ntn 63# at 26,I finished it with some oak stain and spar varnish, not much of a looker .I sure appreciate the help of everyone on this site. Now to try the osage Eddie sent me,Im sure it wont be as straight forward as the hickory but Im looking forward to it,if my son comes home this weekend Ill try to post some pictures, thanks Dave.
