Well, I've decided the only way to get the fletching off the quil of turkey feathers is to Peal them. No pith is left on them and it just takes half a second. Stick them in a clip for your jig and they glue down real nice. Yep! I'm a pealer for life!!!  ;D

Dana, this is Primitive Archery.  ::) A dab of pine pitch will stick the paint ball to the end of one of those plastic blunts with the dished end.  No need for the gun when you have a bow.  :o

actually they make a paint ball "gun" that mounts on a bow,you lod,you draw you shoot and you paint.
