Some more pics

the stringfollow was quite big. It was the first time that I used actionboo as a facing. I made some Duoflex with bamboo/elder and they had a lot more reflex after tillering.
For the next one I will use Osage...

Wow!!!
I have been interested in the duoflex design for a while now.
Could I ask a few questions.

1. How wide is the bow at the fades?
2. How wide is the bow at the knocks?
3. How did you recurve the bow? Did you use steam or dry heat? Did you glue up using the Perry reflex system.

I have been gathering the materials to make a duoflex for a while.
I am going to use Lemonwood (degame) backed with bamboo and heading for 50lb @ 28"
Lemonwood does not respond well to dry heat or steam and i'm unsure if I can get those large recurves using the Perry system.

Any advice?
