Three weeks later at the lick...
« on: July 14, 2009, 05:20:34 pm »
and the bucks are coming along nicely.  i think i have a couple new bucks showing up to the lick.  i think bucks 5, 7, 12, and 15 are new.  number 5's G2's are awesome!  the 8 pointer is looking good with a possible 17" spread this fall.  the 10 pointer is getting close to a 20" spread.

Looks like you have a good place there.

Either one of those would play hell on a four-wheeler tire.  ;) I'd better get down there and scare 'em off for you.

hopefully they will come out and give someone a shot when the food plots start coming in.  during the first of nov. when the rut kicks in down here i'll be doing some serious rattling.  it's definitely looking like the cut over next door and the planted pines are starting to draw the deer to my property.  i've not seen this many nice bucks on the farm in years and i'm wondering were the spikes are hiding.  better sharpen your broadheads fellows and start practicing!
