Very sweet character bow Alex. You just reminded me why I like snaky character bows so much. In my opinion they deserve to be in a class all on there own. Great work and attention to detail. Congratulations.     Keenan

Bear, you definitely went all out in making that snakey stave into the best bow it could be! Very nicely done in all regards!

Fine work of art that shoots, too.  I've not been too big on squared off fades on a self bow but the way you incorporated them in the whole package works great.

Thanks everyone.

Don, how could I forget?! My good friend Don Wilson even added some mojo by hanging out with me while I worked the tips. He held and gaurded the opposite end of the bow while I worked the tips. Sometimes when it's crowded under the shed at Twin Oaks I get worried someone is going to careen into my bow and break it off in the vise. I think weve all seen close calls on the band saw, that way.

Funny how we change. When I started doing this all I wanted was to be able to build a bow all on my own. Now that I'm getting more confidednt that I can I appreciate having my friends involvment. Actually got to make some new friends on this one.

LMAO!!! That is awesome. Back when I used to play guitar we woulod sometimes do the second verse of Purple Haze with the words from Green Acres...

Green Acres is the place for me!
Country livin is the life I lead!

If I ever get to play it again, I'm doing Hillbilly's version!
Just remember, you can't put the wood back on.

Lots of medicine in that bow and perfect in every way. I really like every thing about it. Can't wait for B.O.M. voting. Oh and it makes me want to dig out a hendricks record.    Kenneth
