another useless point

i gotta start making stuff i can use  ;D paul this is your george town. was gonna flute it but decided against it. then i screwed up the notches.

  Yep, thats why the majority of the points I make are to hunt with. That is the reason I started knapping. Probally the same reason Abo man did too. ;D

yeah not deep enough. i crushed an edge on one and just stopped. was looking at my points dana and thinking of taking em all down to hunting size

Jamie, you can change that point by restarting your notches along the inside,widen them out some,or just take off the ears and make a nice stemmed point?

one problem i have right now tim is my tines are trashed. i need to go dig through my bone pile and make some new tools. the reason i crushed it is my fine tine was broke and i used a round tine

Yea, I'd say that ones nice and thin, I wouldn't call the point useless, just different.

that was pretty damn funny pat.

useless in terms of what the hell would i ever use it for. i knapped out a bunch of huntin points yesterday. so now i can start making more useless stuff ;D

thats nice Jamie I don't see anything wrong useless points.  Are you gonna go to Bald Eagle I would love to watch you make some more useless ones. I cut hickory today got 20 staves frome her, but I feel like I have been run over by a truck

I think you could still flute that puppy Jamie, or do like Timo said and make a stemmed out of her. Not a bad lookin point the way it is - maybe you aughta just start banging another piece of rock ;).

paul i keep looking at the stem on it and thinking the same thing

wasp i dont think im gonna make it. i have a shoot at my club and a lot of guys arent gonna be around to help out so im stuck.
