Little neck knife
« on: June 11, 2009, 09:04:07 pm »
Made this out of a piece of unknown rock I picked up in the debitage pile at Pappy's. It was quite a bit bigger when I start but had a big stack on
one side, by the time I removed the stack it was this size. Its by no means perfect but it ain't bad :) Gifted it the guy that hung and finished my drywall,
he was fascinated with the knapping and he gave me a hell of a deal so what the heck. Should have seen the smile on his face when I gave it to him :)

Sure ain't nothin wrong with that Dana! Woulda put a smile on my face too :). That's gotta be novaculite, and you gotta quit giving away everything ya make. Yer not going to have any way to prove you know how to knap and build bows, knives, arra's and stuff ;D.

Great job on that Dana. That looks like Novaculite to me as well.  In fact I think that was some of the Novaculite I was ruining. ;D

Very nice Dana, that turned out great. Jesse was supposed to clean that stuff up,but hasn't yet.
It is at least 6 inches deep in the whole napping area. I get tired of walking on it.  ;) :) :) Still got
a crappier left also,O well always next year. :) Someday, thousands of years from now people will think there was a heck of a tribe hanging out in that spot.  :)  ??? I guess they will be right. :)
