Coyote quiver
« on: August 21, 2009, 12:04:58 am »
This is a coyote hide Plains type quiver I put together for Tim Lathrum(Woodstick). The coyote's face is the flap for a removable pouch. It attaches to the quiver stiffener(viburnum) with 2 thongs. The tan colored leather is commercial tanned elk hide and the red is thin garment leather. The strap is attached with thongs and the osage medallion. All stitching is done by hand.
I got a lot of excellent info from Jackcrafty's coyote quiver build along in the "How To" section. Thanks for the excellent build along Patrick.  Unlike Patrick, I wasn't trying to duplicate a specific Native style but a generic Plains type was my goal.  I hope you like it as much as I do!  ;D

Thanks Kenneth. This is my first hair on quiver and I was quite pleased with the way it turned out. I think Tim likes it too. ;D
