Thanks Guys, that means a lot, Miss Joanie loves you guys and read these yesterday and really appreciates them as I do. :) As I said , short weekend but we did manage to get some stuff done around the Club and the shop. I started the week end with a few projects in mind and got most of them done. Here are a few pictures of the fun. Another side quiver in the works, made from a strap on and an old Tobacco stick from the barn. This was an old hewed stick of oak so no telling how old it is.  ;)

Also another powder horn in the works and working up enough Turkey feathers to do a dozen arrows. Some of Bill's napping, 1 nice blade and point. :)

Bill still at his napping. The dozen arrows all  Splined/sanded sealed and ready to fletch. Working on some tree stands, I know I brought this up last year but if you use a stand and it has the cables PLEASE check them very close and replace the cable , I am replacing all of mine with chain, I know how some feel about stands, either don't want to be in the air or not primitive enough but I use them and if you do please be safe. I have had 4 break in the last 2 years. YIPS. ;) :)

Little John showed up and wanted to build a board bow, I have no experience making them but Chuck and Bill jumped right in to advise and help if needed. ;) He had some nice Red Oak boards. :)

I managed to get 3 fletched before I had to leave, they fly like darts, 625 grains so should do some damage if I get the chance to use them. :) Powder horn getting brass pins and ready all but sealing and a lanyard, ran out of the large hemp cord. ???
