Happy birthday Pappy!  Maybe the girls were out partying, will we be seeing puppies?

Thanks guys, much appreciated, it was a great weekend, lots of friends in and out and a really good supper Saturday night. Here are a few pictures of the fun. A couple of gifts came in the mail. Very nice work by Art. :)

Some buttons made from the scrap and the scales on and sanded. Ready for sealer. Turned out pretty. Got to love them horns. :)

Sweet Pea showed up for a birthday hug. Gary and his girl friend [Linda] showed up for the day, she is a very sweet lady and Gary is lucky to have found her again, they went to grammar school together, great seeing them and getting to know her. More horns in the works/got them cleaned up and ready for some more projects. :-\,  Little Jon and Bill showed up and are putting some final touches on Jon's powder pistol. :)

Bill's knife blade, turned out nice. Gary had me a cake made, very cool. Thanks Gary/Linda, wonderful thought. :) Jimmy showed up with the first deer of the season for TwinOaks guys. Small but a deer just the same. He has to kill 3 doe before he can kill a buck at the place he is hunting , so any doe works for him. ;) ;D ;D Sister seems very interested, we will see next weekend if she really is. ;)

Then some time relaxing around the fire with friends, I told Miss Joanie I wanted a nice cheaper pair of Binoculars, I have a pair of Swarovski's but they are to nice to keep in the truck/ on the tractor or just knocking around  the farm , so this was my Birthday gift from her, what a woman !!!  ;) It was a very good time and I appreciate all my friends that showed up. Nothing like good family and friends. Hope yall had a good one also. ;) Life is Good. ;) :) :)

Looks like you had a happy birthday Pappy. I wish you and yours many more.
PS I gave my neighbor a bunch of firewood last year and he gave me a combo binoculars and range finder. I love the range finder it's got good enough optics I hardly have to pick up the binoculars.

Thanks, guys, ya  bj I use my bio's more for checking mass crop on trees than anything else, don't see to well anymore and they really help looking for mass crops in Oak's and persimmons. :) Also use them while on the stand just glassing around when I get bored. :) Don't have much use for a range finder, I know when they get in my range  ??? without checking, but still cool to play with and they came in the set. :)

I hear you Pappy, I use the range finder mostly because it's smaller and lighter and usally sees what I need to see. Allways nice to have a good set of eyes. I've been wearing glasses since 2nd grade. If I didn't absolutely need them I wouldn't wear them I hate em but I do like that I can see with them lol.
