What did you mean by scoring James' bows?Hitting the bullseye or not?

Ed i think he means that the bows were finished and then shot the course with for a score
failure is an option, everyone fails, it's how you handle it that matters.

James gave separate trophies for the guys that bought, finished and shot his bows for score. The trophies were real nice obsidian knives with antler handles in a stand.

Ed, you'll like the Tear Drop. We've been using one for a few years, now. If you look at the pictures of mine and PatB's camp you can see it behind our pop up canopy with walls.

I see.WOW!!!! that's a bunch of bows. The old tillering tree got a work out then.Does a person speak up ahead of time for those glue ups of James'?One of the things I missed was the diversity of different woods from different parts of the country.Good horse trading time!Getting there early proved to be beneficial for getting the prime staves....lol.
I know DVS is tireless mentoring at Mo Jam making bows.A fair amount of bows built there then too.I would suppose the saturday night feed there feeds 75 people for sure.I could be wrong though.

Not as many bows built last year at mojam but the last couple of years prior there was quite a few.  I would say 75 is a good number for the mojam feed.  A couple of years ago I would say it was closer to 150. Then about 2/3rds stick around for the auction.  Man only 2 months away! Im ready now!

What a great weekend, I didn't do a thing for TwinOaks, just relaxed and worked on Bows and horns. I did do a little straightening and putting stuff back where it goes but mostly just kicked back. Here are a few pictures. I made it up to the Sprit station and it looks great, thanks to all that made it that way.  :)

An Osage bow in the works, debarked and ring chased, ready to lay out. A very nice painting Dirty Dan gifted me at the Classic, anyone that has been there knows where this wall is. ;) Thanks Dan, I will cherish this.  ;)

Shawn showed up to work on an Osage stave and Allen showed up and wanted to split a nice log, the splitting went well and we got 2 nice staves from it. :)
