Well Friday is here again and I am really looking forward to it, been a long week here at work and home, this retiring thing has more to it than you would think. I though you just stopped work and started having fun. ::) ::) Anyway I am down to 19 days. ;) We are having the 25th annual White tail Classic starting this weekend and also the Baggett /Twin Oaks Bash Saturday night ;) and I know that will be fun, along with some shooting and arrow tuning time and hopefully a little shop time I think the weekend will be great. :) Hope yall have a good one also. For you in the lower south, stay safe and I hope it all works out for yall, you will be in my thoughts and prayers. ;) Life is Good. ;) :)

Hope you have a big turnout today and your weather is as beautiful as it's going to be here.  Wish I was there instead of doing what we have to do here today.  Looking forward to the pictures Monday.

Great weekend, just beautiful weather, cool and clear, don't look like it will stay that way long but we enjoyed it while it was here. Hope all by friends are good in FL. thinking OF Yall.  :) We had about 10 Traditional teams of 3 and the same Compound teams with a few singles mixed in so the turn out although a little down was fine, this is not a big event for us, just a laid back fun one. We did have a very good showing for the Baggett/TwinOaks Bash, most all the wives and old friends showed up, we feed over 50 people and had a great time of food /fellowship and fun. Here are a few pictures of the weekend. Of course my girls had a good time. Getting some arrows ready for opening weekend. Not primitive, I like the 160 ace and PO shafts when I am in a hurry as I have seem to have been all summer, maybe I will have more time after September. ;) :) :) :)

Sorry/Fork. :o  Ring in the works. Jon working on a new string, Bill doing some napping and Christina and  Little Margaret Ann showed up for the day, she is a champ and worked registration most of the day. :)

I got a big surprise Saturday evening, Garry Davis showed up for my birthday and retirement dinner,  I didn't know any of this was planned. :o  Then getting set up for the fun/games and supper. It would be hard to do without the ladies, they just seem to know how to get it done. :)

Getting all the food ready, we started cooking at 3 and planned to eat at 6, all worked out like a champ. :)

We had 1/2 chickens/Rib eye grilled to you liking and pork loin both grilled and also Chuck and Beau smoked some. It was a meat fest for sure. The women brought the sides. :)

Kind of like Church, you can always draw a crowd if you feed um. Then my surprise cake from Gary and Linda, very much of a surprise and very much appreciated. :) It is so great to have good friends and I am very blessed to have so many. Also a gift from GregB , one of his custom knives and sheath . Thanks Greg, I love it. :)
