No deer but Glen did make meat, it took an afternoon for a little squirrel action.

Another project I started on, a Yew stave gifted me by Wizard Goat at the Classic a couple years back.

I got it debarked and ready for nocks. Little John showed up for the weekend and was doing some powder horn work .

Kept my old 22 handy just in case a squirrel came by the shop. GregB showed up to work up a deer gifted to him by his brother, don't take long to work a deer when we all pitch in. Beau and Christina showed up with Margaret Ann for a visit. Beau has know these guy most of his life, they are like family to him.

Gary is a pretty good baby sitter, she done very well around the fire with him holding and rocking her, I told Christina she needed to get use to that, any grand daughter of mine had to smell like smoke.

The week was over way to fast, lots of deer seen but no shots. The whole week was worth the last picture of Gary in his FL. get up.

Looks like he will fit right in down there.

Then he headed back south and the rest headed by North. I got home to a gift from Michel, the shirt say it all. Thanks Michel. It was a fun time that I really enjoyed. Can't wait till next year, maybe someone will kill a deer , but really no one seems to care either way. Hope yall had a good Christmas and will have a great 2018.

Pappy, those axes are either Collins or Mann. One company bought out the other so it's hard to say which one made them.

What does the shirt say? I can't make it out in the picture.

Christina just showed up with Margaret Ann, Miss Joanie is going to keep her for them, Sad morning for Christina, going back to work after 3 months off with Margaret.

Not sure how it's going to work out, we will see. $:-\$

Looks like another very enjoyable week Pappy. I'm sure it's going to be though on Christina leaving Margaret Ann, but at least she knows she'll be in great hands. Done deer hunting for this season. I didn't get one but I'd have to say it was one of the most enjoyable deer seasons I've ever had. Can't wait to do it again. Life is Very Good
