Bolder lake, it it said it was made by a meteor years ago and even this high it heats from the bottom and never freezes solid. It has big cut throat so they say but we didn't take out poles to the top. :( The Flat tops are some of the oldest Mountain ranges in the world. They have weathered to take off the peaks and leave the flat ,relatively speaking, didn't look to flat to me once on top. ??? ::)

Great pictures, thanks for posting them. Congrats on the Muley. Those camps look like you could stay there for a long time, well done.

That scenery takes me back to my season with USFS on the Routt N.F. It was back in 1969, Good times in God's Country.

Congratulations, Beau. I'm glad you guys had a good and safe hunt. Just got home today, myself. Looking at your pictures has me missing the Flat Tops. When I lived in Glenwood Springs we spent most of our weekends Jeeping and caving up there. Beautiful country.

Friday and won't seem to let me post pictures this morning, I will try later. Headed to the cabin for the weekend, Deer/Turkey season opens in the morning but looks like rain. That is OK because I plan on sewing my pond bank today and rain will be prefect for that. Also have to leave tomorrow mid day for a while, Margaret Ann's 1st birthday is tomorrow, don't seem like a year since we were blessed with her in our liver, time really dose fly.  ??? Picture later when this thing stop's acting up. Hope yall have a great weekend. Life is Good. :)

Pics look great. That burn sure takes a long time to heal. Can tell by your old photo and this years photo. Where it stays dry most the year after a burn can take hundreds of years to recover!

Will hunt tonite and then stop down later for a beer! Trying to recover from this jet lag, think I got it whipped now.
