Little fun and frog gigging,useing a cain pole and cain gigs.Well that about it for this week,
I am leaving for Cloverdale Tuesday and won't be back till Sunday so I should have some good shots from that trip next week.

Ya Bear,it only rained 9 inches there yesterday,maybe it will get it out of its system.Me and
Grant will be there about Daylight Wend.He is out of town and I didn't want to drive up by myself so I am waiting on him.We plan on leaving around Midnight Tuesday.See ya soon.

I don't
think the yooper is coming,Jesse is taking him a pup back with him,if his wife don't fall in love and not turn it over when she gets back.

As usual, a welcome respit on a Monday morning Pappy. I really like those stone knives with the Osage (?) handles.

Did Jesse make those? Sweat. I'm also intrigued by the cane gig. How's it made and how's it work. From the picture it looks like multiple split pieces of cane hafted to a central shaft.

Jesse made 2 of the blades and Cowboy made the other Greg put Osage handles on 2 and I put the deer leg bone on the 3rd.Jesse made the gig from cain. the points are cain slivers cut,sharpened
and the ties to the pole.It officiously works.That boy is always coming up with something.

Ya Tiller I think Jesse can hang in there with Greg,we will see this weekend,they will both
be together,Hope I bought enough Ribeye.

I only got 30 lbs.We are leaving for
Cloverdale tonight for about a week,Not home but a fine place to hang out, shoot,eat and taking some stuff to scrape on also.See yall next week.

Maybe GregB can give me some shooting lessons
while we are there.

My wife and I dropped by to see the pups yesterday afternoon before they go to their new families. They sure are cute pups! Word of warning for their new families, don't leave anything within their reach that you don't want chewed!
