Yep so true BJ. Miss Joanie said the first question she wants to ask the Good LORD when her time comes is why did you make Mosquito's , they are good for nothing  and my question is what didn't you make Dogs live as long as we do  just his plan I suppose and maybe I will understand some day.

I have been told dogs and humans are born with a certain amount of love to give before they go. Dogs just don't budget well and run out faster.

Sounds about right JW. Sister seems to be adjusting OK, she wines in the morning when I let her out and seems to be looking for something but other than that as the day goes on she seem fine,just going to take some time I guess.

Headed to the cabin for the weekend, hope to get the ranges all finished up this weekend and a few other odds and ends, just about ready to go. :-\Just another week or so and people will start showing up, then the real fun begins. Hope yall have a good one. Life is Good.

Hard to believe laying here in the icu bed that , the Classic is next week , I talked with the doctor about going.  I won't be able to shoot,  and will have to take thinks slow.  But he says that I can go.

Well, Pappy, I just looked at the map, and yep, Tennessee is still too far away for a weekend road trip.  Sure would like to get out there and meet all you guys face-to-face.

WB, the Tenn. Classic is not just a weekend thing anymore. It's more like 11 days of fun and good food with about 1000 of your best friends.

Ya Pat it has turned into a week or more event, got to love it though. Sorry to hear you are ill Bear, glad you are still going to make it though, we will take good care of you and maybe give you a set down Job.  Thank WB, maybe some day it will work out, love to meet ya. We had a really good working this weekend, got about all my list knocked out and I think we are ready as we can be, even took a LITTLE time off for myself Friday morning for a short Turkey hunt. 20lbs 10 1/2 beard 1 3/16 spurs, supplies for me and Turkey breast for Miss Joanie, got a few brownie point with this one and I really need them around this time of year.  Back strap for lunch, yum yum.

Got my Turkey all taken care of , going to make a bow rack out of the legs,and then back to work around the place, ranges are finished, tents ups and mulch all spread and ready for the vendors.

Last piece I put up is the map, now to fill it with pins from all over this great country of ours and usually some from fine places around the world. Had a little shop work going on late in the day but most of the weekend was getting ready. Hope yall had a good one also, I will probably be out of pocket from about Wednesday the 24th April until 6th or 7th of May but will check in from time to time on my cell.  Life is Good.
