King Ron and I decided on brats for supper Friday night,The bows are the ones I plan to hunt with this year and Jimmy with his Hackberry at first brace. This is of one of my stands,Doug with the bow he just finished for his Grandson and a few snacks.Just about out of that so somebody needs to kill a
deer. :)

Cowboy, I'd take him up on his invite if I were you...saw some of his stands near white oaks that were hanging heavy with huge acorns! Guaranteed to look like a hog lot under the tree from the deer milling around...just got to catch them at the right time. ;)

Greg B. I just was looking at the purple heart knocks you shaped and like the others said a work of art man. Now if I can get ya to show me how to when I bring it down to finish it,that would be great. Also on my last post I meant thanks to Jessie for the arrow he gave me.

Alright, you guys have me drooling and chomping at the bit. I'd like to say I'm coming but wouldn't want to make a liar out of myself ;D. One should never say never though :).

Jesse, we got 26 doves and probably quit hunting about 1-1/2 hours before dark. It was the first dove hunt I've been on in over 20 years, and my shooting showed it! :)

Tommy, I'd be glad to lend you a hand if I know when you're coming and I'm not in a tree stand... ;D

Got a big weekend planed,we are having the Bagget bash Sat. night. It is just a gathering of all my bowhunting buddies and there family's,we don't get to see a lot of each outher once the season starts, been doing this for over 20 years so it should be fun.We also have a working to set up for the
16th Deer Classic. We shoot 18 deer targets and 2 Turkey for score and then on opening weekend if you kill a deer you bring it to the club and it is scored by pound and horns and come up with a total. It is a lot of fun and get to see a lot of deer and some very good eating and fellowship.I have to fly out to Memphis Sat. morning but hope to be back by 4 pm.Just in time for the gathering.
Hope yall have a good one as well I feel sure we will[.Life is good.] :) :) I am going down this evening and hope to get my last 2 stands up if the rain will stop. Can't complane tho ,we needed the rain.
