Greg, when you go to shooting that bow you better put on Safety Glasses.
Lakeland, Florida
If you have to pull the trigger, is it really archery?

Jesse, I'm planning the ground flint for the dogwood bow...the sinew was planned for the osage that I screwed up when recurving one of the tips. :'( It's now down from 64" to 58" and I'm hopeful to turn a failure into a success still. The top limb is 2" longer then the bottom, although I may try and make up 1/2" or so of that with the inlayed tips when I do them. I'm still planning to sinew back the bow, but will probably put it on the back burner until I finish the dogwood...we'll see. :)

Eddie, you may be right about the need for safety glasses when shooting it. I've got that flint ground up pretty fine right now, so maybe it won't be a problem if it's inside the finish layers. ;) How's Jesse's flint coming along? Had a chance to start on it yet? I've got quite a bilt of those flakes ground into my mix! ;D

Yeah, you get that camera in your hands and it's..."damn the torpedoes, full steam ahead!". :) If someone is working on something they don't want a picture taken of until it's finished, they better be quick and get it out of sight because the Life is Good camera man is on the prowl! ;D

So, what's on the menu for this weekend? ;)

Sat.We have a lot to go over. Our first shoot is in March and we are already making plans for the Classic.I had the meeting set for 11am so any of us that wanted to hunt could and I plan to.I am
going to try and put a grip on my Osage today and maybe hunt with it in the morning. No other big plans, maybe cut some more wood if I can get anyone interested.Hope to be skinning a deer. ;) ;D
I do need to go through my camping trailer to be sure I have all I need for our trip to LBL the day after Christmas,if I don't get it done now it gets harder the closer I get to Christmas to get anything done.Miss Joanie dose require me to be there for that. ;) Hope yall have a good one also, see ya Monday.Life is good. :)
