Sorry Tom's bow blew but I'd bet it was exciting.  ;)  Actually this gives me more time to finish my portion of the set! ;D

Man we had a great weekend,No deer but as usually when there is a bunch there we didn't try very hard, :) to many other things going on to distrack us. We worked on bows, done some napping started on some hide tanning and got into some knife building. We had Shanon and JohnT there to give us some pointers so we took advantage of that.Ryan and family was there till Friday late and I really enjoyed there company. We also ate good. :) Lots of pictures of the weekend, hope yall had a good one also. :) The first picture was my arrows for the weekend, Only had one shot at a nice tom
and missed him low, about 22 yards,It didn't hurt the head at all. Also RyanO and GregB warming up for the first days hunt. :)

Snake skin finished,Shanon showing us how to drill case hardened steel and putting up a tree stand
we did do a little looking around and though about hunting deer. ;) :) just didn't get around to it. :)
It was a great weekend lots of friends and fun, also learned a lot. There is always time to hunt a
little later in the season when the weather gets better.Thats it for this week, can't wait to get back.
Chad [Singing Bowyer] is supposed to be down this Sunday for a few day with some people from Germany that have never hunted before, that should be fun. :) :) Life is good. :)
