Pappy, are you trying to work up a resistance by getting your daily dose of snakebite medicine.  ;) An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.  So what is a fifth of prevention worth.  :o Justin

Consuming it in cobbler lets all of us enjoy it in moderation! ;D

Moderation .....That is the key I always use a moderate amount of Pappys whiskey and then pour some of Knotheads white lightning back in the bottle so the level stays the same ;D  >:D     but Pappy don't like it much when I put the Miller light in the cornbread either he's caught me a couple of times on that one.
I have had to take up drinking beer just to keep him from watching me all the time if I get near the cooler!!

Wholy crap Castiron, Cobblers good, but, 24 year old Scotch and Crown Royal? I hope you aint using old can peaches with that combination. Heck, If Jim Beam is good enough for starting fires ,it would be good enough for canned peaches. ;)

Well I have found that you rarely get more out of anything than you are willing to put into it " Better ingredients = better cobbler" now if I can get Greg and Pappy to give up a good piece of that yeller wood  ;D so far they are only willing to let go of the short ones with "issues" so by me Hickory is still the best for bows and coals for the the dutchovens!!

Oh and no whiskey in caned peaches, Fresh Rome apples are best you got to peal and core them but it is worth it in the end.

Definitely Life :o :o :o ;D
