Brats for lunch then I chased a ring on a red mullberry stave, never used it before but seems to be a lot like regular Mullberry, then on on the range. We left the course up so ones that didn't get a chance at the Classic to shoot could go through it. Great time and the course was beautiful. :)

Joe was shooting and Arvin Weaver bow, he stayed in the cabin with us at the Classic so Arvin gave him a bow, what a guy. Joe shot it well, smooth/quite and fast for the weight.  :) Doug shot a bow I gave him, so all self bows except 1 and we held our own.  :) :)

Annie spent the time with us chasing squirrels and running ahead of us. :) :)I was the only one that hit the iron deer, the others are 1 arrow short now.  ;) :) I had a small splinter pop on one of my old Mullberry bows so done a sinew wrap, I think it will be fine , will see tomorrow. :-\ Then venison steak for supper and a good nigh's sleep. :) Good time for sure. Hope yall had a good one also. Life is Good.  :)

Looks like a great time, Pappy.  I never realized there were so many mountain goats in Tennessee.   ;D

Ya we have a lot of them here WB.  ;) :) :) :) Had a great weekend, I went down Thursday to start getting the targets in from the Classic and some more clean up pick up, also had a couple of shop projects I wanted to work on, managed to get most of it done. Got my last bunch of turkey feather back, I traded with a guy on half's, I got the lefts and he got the rights, 700 in this bunch and 850 in the first bunch all full length ,so I am flush with Turkey feathers probable for the rest of my life. :-\ I also got the shadow box done with the points from the toilet bowl knap off this year and another file knife in the works.  :)

Took some pictures of the spirit station they painted up this year at the Classic, wished I had gotten them sooner before they faded a bit, still pretty cool.  :) Got my Mullberry on and off the form, a little more tweaking but it is about ready to tiller. :)

Then to range clean up Friday. I think we had close to 150 targets out so it takes a while to pull, we also done some work on the sheds to get a little better organized . ???

Got the tapper done on my blade and the final tweaking on the Mullberry.Just need a little tip alignment.  :)The blade is ready to heat treat and temper, I sometimes use a chimney putty to coat the top portion of the blade to leave a hamon line on the blade, usually works pretty good.

Knife Handle glued up, it is deer leg bone. Shawn/Mark and Steve came by working on some bows.
