The awards, like seeing the adults get them but nothing like the kids, they get so excited. :)

Good turn out for your first shoot of the year and Twin Oaks looks great. Can't wait to get there. Won't be long now.   :OK

Great weekend, not many pictures, stayed really busy getting all the little and big things done before the Classic, did get a couple of little things done for myself in the shop but mostly stuff around the shop and place. Shawn showed up and we got the bow shop all cleaned up/benches and tables cleaned/leather in all the vices and lubed and new belts and blades on all the sanders and saws, I think it is ready for the party !!!  ;) Also had a good friend come down and open up some more parking area, going to gravel it tomorrow, should pick 12/15 spots and that will help.  :)

Took a little time to rework the grip on one of my favorite bows, it had a alligator skin grip that was coming apart so I put a hemp wrap grip on it and light sanded the whole bow and added a couple of coats of poly. Deer breakfast sausage [from Rocky] for mid morning snack and deer brats for mid afternoon lunch. A man has to eat  ;) :) :)

My girls just resting. They are good at that. :) Welded up some crosses from re barb for my dog grave yard . Found an old skillet and top when I was cleaning the shop and decided late afternoon it needed a cleaning and seasoning, so a good cleaning and then rubbed down heavy inside and out with rendered deer tallow and the fire, done the trick. ;) Love them old skillets.  :)
