The Coyote,30 lb ,glad to see him gone, they are getting thick as thieves around home. Didn't hunt yesterday but did get his deer skinned and in the soak.Planning on grinding most of it Friday evening. Got 2 nice hides and 3 more brain's so I may not be getting meat but I am loading up on supplies. ;) :) :) Hope to get in the woods this evening,we checked out a stand I have just above an old pond ,lots of oaks and a narrow finger of woods/thicket that runs almost to the road that they use a lot to move back and forth across the road that splits my farm, they have it worn out so I may give that a try this evening. :)

They just released last years numbers for Coyotes in Utah, They had about 7600 turned in for bounty. $50 a pop, but you have to give them the scalp and lower jaw.
If you always do what you always did you'll always get what you always got.

I like that design Jon has going on his new knife.  Looks really useful.

Is there a name for that style blade?

Congrats Beau on your season so far!  Especially, like the coyote kill.  You're gonna tan it, right?

We plane on it Matt. :) Great weekend, only 1 deer killed off the farm but several more brought in and gave me some time to catch up on a few things I have been wanting to do. Got DaveO /Eddie/Chris and Shane coming next week so I had a few odds and ends I needed to get done. :) :) Here are some pictures of the fun. Got Beau's racks skull capped and ready to hang, also got a couple of knives well on their way.  :) :)
