Had a couple of pins in the Dogwood so I decided to rawhide back it, it is a good shooting bow but still not what I had hoped for, it will make a good hunting bow I think so a little security ant a bad thing. ;) I got it on last night and plan on trimming it up this evening and maybe then finally getting it finished up, only started it in 05. ;) :) When I got home I had a package from E. Jensen,3 beautiful forged points, they will look cool as soon as I have time to put them on some arrows.THANKS E. Jensen. :) Also Miss Joanie got me a book from PA, making primitive paints and glue , I made a quick look through it and looks like some very good info, can't wait to look at it closer, Thanks Miss Joanie. ;) :) :)

I shoot 125 points, in general.  I'll make sure that I have a matched set.

I knew you would, don't think I seen anything about point weight, just that they had to be glue on ??? not sure what else you would use on wood or Cain. ;) ;D ;D Guard your arrows , I may try and tweak them just a bit ,of course just to be sure they are all good and straight. >:D ;) :)

Pappy, Some guys use duplex nail points with cane and bamboo shafts. Would those be considered glue on?
I started out with nothin' and I still got most of it left

Don't think there will be any problem with any natural arrow in the self bow class, doubt anyone will look at the points anyway. ???Mainly I think they are talking about the Modern longbow/recurve classes/can't use nib's.  :)

well it's Friday and headed to the Cabin, we have the IBO event starting 2 weeks from today
so it is going to be a busy weekend rain or shine. Still lots to get done. I hope to get at least a little while in the shop to shoot My Dog Wood bow but who know if that will happen or not, the good news is after this event I will be pretty free the rest of the summer, :-\ can't wait for that. Hope yall have a great 4th. See ya Tuesday. We are off Monday for the 4th instead of today like most, Christmas in the Beer business ya know.  ;) :) :) Life is Good. :)

Finally got the chance to catch up on some Life Is Good, can't believe I'll be there next week, leaving work early Wednesday around noon.
I call a lot of people brother, but only count a few as family.

Nice points, thanks again E. Jensen, love them. Had a little time to get the nocks and point on my new Cain arrows,no time to shoot them yet. Then to work on the ranges and hauling mulch to the trails. We had a pretty good turn out being the 4th of July. :)

More range work and then back to the kitchen, I think all that make the shoot will love our set up, it's pretty cool with lot of scenery and large targets. :) :)
