Fantastic! Way to go, Pap.

If you have to pull the trigger, is it really archery?

Some powder horns in the works, just killing time till I can go to the woods, can't just sit around. ;)

Beau's arrows are ready and sharp, he is hunting with for some of you old timers MJ Log fiber glass  arrows made in the 60's with Zwicky heads. They fly like darts and weigh in at 525 grains. Also put the final finish on my new knife. :)

Putting the finish on my new powder horn and a trade I made with Jon on a new side quiver, he also made me one out of an old quiver I had given him several years back. Very cool, love them. :)

I also had a little doe all around me, and as most that know me know I ant a trophy hunter at all I do draw the line on spots if I can see them, :-\ and on this one I could. ;) :) Lost my trade point, pine pitch and sinew still in tack but head gone. Always some work going on in the middle of the day, gutters cleaned and cooking for supper. ;) :) Cajun rice with lots of deer meat and peppers, yum yum.

Nice 8 point killed, the problem was he shot it late, to far back and by morning  nature had taken over
Any of us that have done this a lot know it can happen, sad when it does but that is just part of it. J man the young man that come down for the youth hunt took his second deer with a bow, nice doe. Then just some hanging out waiting for the final check in time and awards.  ;)

Kevin Brown [who a lot of you know] won Traditional over all for the year. Like I said it was a lot of fun and fellowship, hot and some hard hunting , I feel very blessed to have killed anything, also had a doe donated to me so now I got deer to skin. ;) Hope yall had a great one also.
