Pigmy pink rattlesnakes in North Carolina are endangered and protected. Can't even kill regular rattlers to help protect them. Saw a pink Pigmy run over in the road once.

Great weekend pappy! We had a good one here as well,  had our anual gathering under the ash trees in springfield MO.
If your interested in a piece of a pink snake skin, I have one.  I could cut you a strip off and send it to you.
Well I  can't get the pics to load.  Its a tanned rattle snake dyed pink.  Pretty cool.

Pink might be cool, I plan on putting some kind of skin on it for sure. Pink twist string and also pink leather grip for some stuff Joe York sent me a few years back. Just waiting on length and weight. I want it to be her length when she is born N-N and her weight at 6 inch draw. No Brian I hadn't thought about that, probably because I never used one. ;) :) Glad yall had a good time Patrick, I knew you would with that bunch together you would have to. ;) :) :) I would love to see the skins, how did you die them ???
I have a few sets of small skins and small is all I will need for this one. ;) Good to hear from you David, hope all is well down south. :)

Here you go pappy!
I picked this skin up at springfield leather in springfield, mo. It is a tanned skin but I have had great success applying them as a you would a rawhide skin.

Now that looks cool lebhuntfish, not sure I have time to get them though, :-\  Christina went in the hospital last night, I spent several hours there and looks like Margaret Ann won't arrive until sometime this morning, I went home and got a couple hours sleep because I had to be at work for my retirement party this morning starting at 4am until everyone is feed hopefully about 8:30 am. Miss Joanie is there of course !!!!  I don't want to miss her being born but can't, not be here with all they have put into putting this breakfast together for me. I am Torn but Beau and Christina understand and of course there is nothing I can do for her anyway. ;) Headed that way as soon as I can get away from here, then to the Cabin and hopefully hunt in the morning [opening day] if all is going well with Christina and my new Grandbaby.  ;) :) :) Seems all is coming together at ones as life sometimes does. :) Hope to have some good pictures of Margaret Ann and maybe even some dead critters from the weekend. Hope yall have a good one.  ;) :) Life is truly very very Good. :)

Dang Pappy, I thought I was busy. Nothing compared to your day. I pray all is well and very much look forward to seeing pictures on Monday of what promises to be a very exciting weekend. Heck I wouldn't be surprised to see some pictures before the end of the weekend. Bless all of you.
