Kevin and Allen killed a couple of nice ones, with recurves. Brandon working on the belt sanders. 2 more walking sticks in the works, one small ERC tree stump and all and a hack berry root. :)

Trying out our new small forge. We are supposed to have a larger one coming, can't wait. Case showed up working on a spoon of sorts and a new mallet. :)

I am putting Osage handles in a couple of old hammer heads. Chuck showed up for a visit, it has been a while and very good to see him. :)

Howdy!

Just wanted to drop in and say Hi! My good friend Shawn and Pappy made this bow for me and I picked it up at the TN Classic this year.
It shot great then and still shoots great! Shawn did a great job on it! We named it HUA from our Army backgrounds. I plan to take HUA to the woods this weekend to do some deer population control! I made some string silencers out of para cord...really lightweight and effective. Shawn and Pappy did a great job! I couldn't be happier with it!

Ya I thought about it also, but rain here so I will pass.Get back after them first of the week. ;) I am headed to the cabin in a bit and hope to do some shop work and maybe put up a couple of stands over the weekend, it is the youth hunt weekend so we can't hunt. I have 1 youth left that will be there tomorrow, this is his last one, fixing to turn 17 and has been hunting with me on the youth hunt since he was 9. He has always killed at least one, hope this last hunt works out the same. :)  Hope yall have a great weekend, Life is Good. :)

Will showed up and gifted me with a blade made from pappyite out of my creek so of course I had to put a handle on it, thanks Will. :) Shawn showed up and we done some lay out work on a new IW stave. Looking good but lots of natural reflex, maybe to much , we will see. :)
