Heavy rain coming in this morning and supposed heavy and to do it all day, one good thing, it may fill my pond if we get what they are saying. I am headed to the farm for about a week this morning, got my buddies coming in , 1 this evening and Eddie/Chris and Shane Saturday sometime. I plan on spending the day in the shop/just hanging out and getting ready for my buddies. Really looking forward to this week. If the weather works out we should have a good week of hunting from what I seen yesterday scouting and putting up a stand. White Oaks are raining which is odd for this time of year, did the same last year just not as heavy of a crop. [Climate change I guess]
They usually fall in early October and reds in later Oct. or early Nov. but not this year a lot of the Red Oak fell early and the Whites just falling so it should be good for hunting since they finely got the corn picked and the deer are back in the woods, not to mention the rut is really starting to pick up.
