Yup don't have to skin very many mink to learn where those scent glands are. I really like those size Antlers for knife handles to.
Good Luck hunting

Good luck with the hogs Eddie, ya bj, I do also and all kinds of other projects. Great weekend even with the rain and ice, seen a few deer Friday when Beau and I went out but no shots, Bucks are chasing again so I guess the 2nd rut is kicked in. Maybe this week.Sally still cleaning bones for me. ;) :)  Also had lots of shop time. Got the Cub scout arrows finished and they pick them up Saturday, hope they like them. Also made a hammer handle for an old claw hammer,[Hickory].

Friday and headed to Nashville for a breakfast [Safety committee breakfast I was on for 32 years ] then to the Cabin for a weekend of some hunting and shop time. I have a few projects going as usual and it looks like rain so I may get a few of them finished. Also we have our last Club meeting for the year tomorrow and are already making plan for the Classic, it will be here before you know it. Hope you all have a great weekend. Life is Good. ;) :) :)

Great weekend, weather a little rainy but done a little hunting just the same, deer movement really slow right now for some reason but nice just being in the woods, squirrel's not slow at all and fun to watch. Need to start taking more Juto's. ;) :) After watching Case making spoons I decided to have a hand at it. Lots of fun. Also put some scales [Elk horn]on a blade Chuck gifted me and also finished another walking stick.  :) So stayed busy.

We are getting into the Walnut we cut for fire wood last year and I just can't stand it so I am trimming some of it up for later projects. ;) Burn a piece and trim a piece. ;) :) Also need a lighter mallet for wood carving so I started a cedar and plan on wrapping the mallet end with thick leather. Hope yall had a good one also. :) Life is Good.

Ya ever make a wild guesstimate how many cords of wood have gone up in smoke in the pit. ;D
