Ya Bob very little trash to haul and not much clean up and nobody stuck in the mud , little different than I am use to. O well all we can do is move on and hope things will be better for 2021, not sure what is in the future but I know who holds it and hope I can be along for the ride. :) Now to get ready for CO. in the fall if they will let us in the state. ;) :) Planning on a couple mile hike this morning with my pack, about 40lbs right now and want to get up to 5 miles with about 50lbs by fall. If nothing else it will get me in shape to drag white tails. ;) :) :)

I hope your Colorado trip still happens.   I loved it out there so much I'm planning a trip with the wife just to go sight seeing and hiking the mountains.
I started out with nothin' and I still got most of it left

Your ahead of the game so far Pappy with bows and arrows. It never hurts to keep that old cardiovascular system in shape.I love my hills around here for that.
I pulled my lower back out once trying to save distance dragging a white tail across a wash once.Took a good 3 weeks to heal.
Will or can you take a 4 wheeler along? How many people in your hunting party?

Just Me and my son Ed, and where we go not motorized vehicles , which I love, I will get there, just takes me a little longer than it use to . ;) :)
Ya Clint it is beautiful country for sure, it is worth the trip just to be in them mountains, Game or no game. Headed to the Cabin tomorrow evening, but first Miss Joanie and I get to keep Margaret Ann and Bodhi tomorrow!!!!! First time in 8 weeks, I can hardly wait to get them in my arms and Miss Joanie is so excited she can hardly stand it. Never know how much you miss someone until you can't see them. Then to the cabin, DaveO is coming in for 1 last weekend and Turkey hunting and who know what else we will get into. Looking forward to it. Life is Good.

Great weekend spent with a few friends, lots of good eating/shop work/hunting and shooting. Hard to beat that. Here are a few pictures. My girls just doing their thing, Sally as you can see has been losing a lot of weight so Thursday I thought I was going to loose her, wound up carrying her to a local vet and she has a bad infection in her lungs,he has kept her since and hope to get her home all better Tomorrow, funny this was the first time since she was born that she didn't stay in the kennel , she was born there and has never left.It is also the first time Sister has spent the night there with out her, it was pretty sad day for sure but hopefully all with turn out good. :-\  Dave showed up to hunt and hang out, great time with him as always. :)

Sorry to hear about Sally, Pappy. Hope everything works out for her. Sister doesn't seem to mind the special attention.
