Bird and Trout Damascus

here is a bird and trout damascus i just finished with black cherry burl that i got from danam and mosaic pins.  overal, it's about 7".

That is a fabulous piece of work.  A simple shape made wonderous by incredible detail and material choice.  I want to be able to make one that good. 8)

thanx guys!  i have a pile of blanks that just come that i'm working on.  i'm hoping to crank out one or two a week so i'll be ready for the classic and hickory in may.

n2, not spoken for yet.  where you been? 

danam, i stablized a little with superglue but this burl is some hard stuff without the glue.
