I need to stop!

Hey guys I have been going and going Knapping all day and night almost 7 days a week!  Have any of you got muscle pains in or around your biceps?  My left arm is killing me! :'(  Glad I'm a righty.... Any WHO check out my new Elk antler I won on ebay...$5 cant go wrong.  They are amazingly heavy!  Thanks guys.

russ you need to use your legs more. i put the piece im working on just inside my left knee and the pressure flaker in my right hand just inside my right inner thigh. then squueze my legs together. itll save your shoulders and wrist too.

You'll get sore muscles! Especially if you just knapp a lil here and there.Break a lil rock everyday and that will help. I always try to do some strength exercises every morn when I get outa bed. I definately ani't no muscle bound man, but 30 push ups a day will really help you with pressure flaking.

Alot of the really good knappers I know do some sort of strength work daily.

I use my legs, rarely do I every feel anything in my wrist, or arms. It took me a while when I first started knapping to use using my legs. I can get so much force in my legs, I can bend copper in my tools very easily. ;)

i knapp everyday,well near everyday.
even if its just for 15 minutes.
just to keep muscles in shape for it
i use my legs quit a bit too
i can tell when i am not using my legs and usining my arms too much
the shoulders get reeeeaaaaaaaal sore and so do the wrist and elbows

getten old sucks lol

timo  those 30 push ups a day,can they be spread out thru the entire day
like 2 in the morning,a couple at lunch time etc.or do they have to be all at once
cause if they do,aint know way i am gonna be ablt to do them  ;)
i always wanted a harley,untill it became the "thing to ride"

Yeah I know to use my legs more but I cant help the OOGA BOOGA in me that wants to squeeze with my forearms and such!
