Not me, isn't that the stuff that they used to make a potion for reversing if you're turned to stone on Harry Potter? Sorry I'm on medication today.

Do you have to treat it in any special way? Poles are available for building purposes. Does it need backing - what sort of design would work best?

 The only one I have seen was a split stave and a bend in the handle "D" bow.

i have been told it makes excellent bows. i haven't yet made one but have a stave drying. there are a heap of different varieties. the one i got have red heartwood when cut that darkened as it dried and weighed a heap.

all you can do is try... and show us pics when you've finished  :)
