Congratulations, Pappy. Anybody who can wrassle a fine looking weapon with a great tiller out of a crookedy gnarly piece of wood like that one sure deserves some recognition. Just don't leave it lying on the ground, somebody'll come along and beat hell out of it trying to kill it lol.

That's the plan Mullet, other than the part of hanging it on the wall.I shot a tournament with it last weekend and it has earned a spot in the deer woods with me this fall. :)Thanks for all the good comments and the votes I do appreshate it. :)I want to shoot it a lot and see how it holds up,Torques says a character bow is nice to look at but you never see them around the next year.I beg to differ :-X So I am on a mission.

congrats Mark. it takes a lot skill and patience to make a bow like that. Maybe some day I can make it down your way and make some shavings with you and learn a few things from ya.

Very nice bow.

Hah!  Like I even had a chance!  Although I am new to all of this, I can honestly say that I have no idea on how you could improve on a snakey osage bow.  From the lines, the handle, to the final finish, this is a masterpiece.

The bar as been BEYOND raised.
