Thank you commadore.  This was actually gonna be my first Osage bow but I got scared of it and put it in the corner till now.   :)

My hat is off to you.  You have more courage than I. You have proven that every piece of wood has a bow in it.  It is just up to us to find it. Amazing work, your patience in tillering and attention to detail is awesome.

Hey there,
I see this is a old post but I have some very similar billets (2 sides of one log) that are knotty and one has a deflex the other reflex. This bow popped up when I was looking at trying to make a bow and it really gave me a boost of morale!
I love what you did with yours.
Is it still shooting?
Man, how tough was that to tiller? :o
