Snakeskin Bamboo Backed Ipe
« on: October 20, 2010, 12:45:18 am »
I finally got the Bamboo backed Ipe finished.  Put some Sanke Skins on her, and retillered it to take a lot of weight off.  I worked on the tips and with the wise advice of Pappy they turned out pretty nice.  It's the best shotting bow I've ever worked on.  It's my new favorite.  :)

Here's some pictures hope they come out well enough to see.

No leather on the grip because the wood is just to darn nice to cover up.  :)

Did you do the glue-up yourself, or is that from a David Knight blank?
