Meat for the freezer.

Not so big but I am happy anyway.Shano came down this weekend and had a bow he wanted me to have,so I got some arrows that would fly and shot it some Friday night.I have been struggling some what this years so decided to hunt with it Sat. morning to maybe change my luck.It worked. :)

Good deal Pappy! Congrats! Maybe I'll get back in the woods sometime before long...been sort of preoccupied, but I'm not complaining!  ;)

Thats a awesome change of luck....Pappy. I think its incredible that you received the bow as a gift...practice a little....then go shoot a deer. I guess thats what they call Good Mojo....(Never new what Mojo meant til primitive archer)...lol CONGRATULATIONS!!!! Those little ones eat good!!!!   ;D

Pappy glad to see you got one down.  I'm still struggling but Sat. morning I saw an enormous, once in a lifetime, 8 ptr.  Huge rack but no shot.  Maybe my luck will change soon as yours has.  Congrats!

Little ones are harder to hit than a big ole nanner head anyway Pappy ! Good shootin and good on ya Shannon for the gift ! Starting slow for us too. Hunted 6 hunts and only sighted one deer so far. These are spots we have hunted years past so a little confused as to where the deer are this year ? Oh well, "Sweet November " , is right around the corner.
