WW2 military issue quiver

So I was browsing a surplus site and came across this thing. All the info they had on it was that it was A WW2 era military issue Croatian Quiver, and of course.. it may show signs of long term storage.  has any one come across any of these things?   it seems very sturdily made from canvas and leather, it said it had a reinforced leather bottom.   I suppose to carry broad heads.

Im really curious about this thing, did they possibly have military issue bows too? Who were they and who did they hunt?  Ty

I did  a quick google search and wasnt able to pull anything up.. must be an obscure subject if google cant find anything ;D, I did find out that Croatia was a country in central Europe that fell within 10 days of being attacked by German and Italian forces.. so These things might not have seen very much action  ::)

Croatia is a country in Southeast (not Central) Europe to be correct.

Honestly I don't think this was meant to be an archery quiver, it just can be used as such. Maybe it was even made from something else just recently!?

they definitely come at a surplus price.. 2/18$   it may have originally been a bag to carry tent poles or somethin of the sort.   I may order a pair you cant beat that price either way.

Look were the buckle is on the side. That buckle is for the flap. If it was a quiver i don't think it would have that.
We have all sorta weird shaped bags for miscellanies stuff in todays Army, It could have been for anything.

also makes since that they would label a random canvas bag as a quiver to promote sales!
